`Crucibles of Leadership` by Warren Bennis and Robert J. Thomas, published in the Harvard Business Review, September 2002. Their conclusion `…the skills required to conquer adversity and emerge stronger and more committed than ever are the same ones that make for extraordinary leaders` strikes me because I found the same in my study of eleven democratic worldleaders. I suppose that compassion and humbleness are also essential qualities of great leaders. What do you think? More
